Prinzessin Victorias Liebeserklärungen
Eine Frau, die ihre Liebe der ganzen Welt beweisen will.

Ab Ende Juni genießen Prinzessin Victoria und ihr Gatte, der zum Prinzen von Schweden und Herzog von Västergötland gekrönte Daniel Wrestling, ihren Honeymoon – eine Entspannungskur in Polynesien. Die Thronfolgerin Schwedens hat ihren langjährigen Freund als ihren Fitnesstrainer kennen gelernt.

"Aus einer schönen und innigen Freundschaft hat sich Liebe entwickelt“ (zitiert nach prinzessinvictoria.de). Die 1.100 extra zum pompösen Fest angereisten Gäste hielten die Luft an, als der charmante Fitnesstrainer seiner Braut seine Liebeserklärung machte. Daniel Wrestling schwört, Tränen in den Augen gehabt zu haben, als seine Prinzessin ihm vor dem Altar ihre Liebe bekundete. Doch schon vor der Eheschließung schrieb Victoria, als sie geschäftlich nach China musste, ihrem Geliebten als Ersatz und Trost während ihrer Abwesenheit Liebesbriefe für jeden Tag. Welche Zeichen der Aufmerksamkeit sie von ihrem Verlobten bekommen hat, bleibt Privatsache.  

Victorias Weg zur Anerkennung als Thronfolgerin war steinig. Nach fast 300 Jahren rein männlicher Herrschaft gab es eine Gesetzesänderung, wodurch das erstgeborene Kind der königlichen Familie unabhängig vom Geschlecht zum Thronfolger wird. Dadurch lastet natürlich ein enormer gesellschaftlicher und väterlicher Druck auf Victorias Schultern, eine würdige Nachfolgerin zu werden. Dazu hätte gehört, dass sie sich einen Mann adliger Abstammung und bevorzugt königlicher Herkunft als zukünftigen Gatten ausgesucht hätte. Unter diesem Druck litt ihre Psyche, im Jahr 2007 gab sie öffentlich zu, magersüchtig zu sein. Doch auch mit diesem Geständnis in der Öffentlichkeit bewies sie, sich nicht allen althergebrachten Vorstellungen, wie eine Prinzessin zu sein hat, unterwerfen zu wollen.

Daniel Wrestling, die männliche „Cinderella“, erwies sich zwar für die junge Victoria bereits nach dem Kennenlernen nicht nur als netter Heiratskandidat, sondern auch als erfolgreiche Geschäftsmann. Doch der Kampf der tapferen Prinzessin Victoria um ihren Traumprinzen, bis sie ihren Vater umgestimmt hatte und dieser einer Hochzeit mit einem Bürgerlichen zustimmte, dauerte ganze acht Jahre. Allem Anschein nach spielt der Vater, König Karl XVI. Gustav, eine sehr große Rolle im Leben der Prinzessin, weshalb ihr die Anerkennung durch den Vater wohl auch aus persönlichen Gründen so sehr am Herzen lag, dass sie, abermals entgegen aller Traditionen und Bräuche des Landes, darauf bestand, von ihrem Vater den halben Weg zum Traualtar geleitet zu werden.  Der stolze Bräutigam musste sich mit der zweiten Hälfte der Wegstrecke zufrieden geben.





Auf einem königlichen Hof erwartet man ein königliches, prunvolles Fest. Trotzdem trug die junge Braut ein eher schlichtes weißes Kleid, wenn auch mit einer meterlangen Schleife, aus der Nadel ihres Lieblingsdesigners Pär Engsheden. Der Schmuck, Armkette, Ohrringe und Tiara, trug schon ihre Mutter, Königin Silvia vor 34 Jahren zu ihrer Hochzeit. Für die Unterhaltung des Volkes gab es anschließend zum Ja-Wort eine Stadtrundfahrt mit der Kutsche und eine Bootsfahrt.

Glücksgefühle auf der einen Seite, Trauer auf der anderen: Die Verlobung von Prinzessin Madeleine, der jüngsten Tochter der Königsfamilie, ging erst vor kurzem in die Brüche. Als offizieller Grund für die Trennung gilt der Betrug des schwedischen Anwaltes Jonas Claes Bergström mit der norwegischen Handballerin Tora Uppstrom Berg. Doch es gibt auch das Gerücht, dass eine Kollegin namens Lisa den Anwalt mit einer Vaterschaft beglücken würde.

Und wie schauen die Kinderwunschpläne in der neu gegründeten Thronfolgerfamilie aus? "Ich hoffe, dass wir in zehn Jahren eine Familie gegründet haben.", sagte der frischgebackene Prinz in einem Interview mit n24.de. Prinzessin Victoria fühlt sich nach ihrer überstanden Magersucht dem Muttersein körperlich im Moment noch nicht gewachsen.
